Before I ordered it I was a bit skeptical. I didn't think the zippers and improvements that were made from last year were really all that good. But when I received the soft briefcase today I was pleasantly surprised and proved wrong. The zippers are the best. The workmanship I cannot say anything bad about. It is impeccably constructed. My only regret is that I have not bought one sooner. I would strongly recommend this product for anyone carrying a laptop bag. It's what separates the men from the boys. This is definitely a man's bag and ladies bag that need efficiency and style. To sum it up I am happy, my wife is happy that I am happy, my children are happy that I am happy and their mother is happy. Life is good.

I purchased this bag for more formal business meetings. The Alive Leather Messenger bag that I purchased two years ago has the same construction but is what I use for long trips. The darker colored leather has a very rich quality and like my other bag is very thick and heavy duty. It also comes with a shoulder strap should you choose to utilize this. I especially like the extra strap so I can slide it over my carry-on handle at the airport. The zippers work extremely smoothly and there is much more space than I originally thought. There is space for my laptop and my iPad as well as many other pockets for my back up batteries cell phone...you name it! This is the “Swiss army knife” of bags. If you are looking for that name brand $1200 saddle leather bag ; you just found it !

As a frequent traveler, there are some special characters I need in a carry on bag that most don’t come close of making them available in one piece, this bag has it all, high quality leather, this is a must for me as I find fabric bags no matter what quality they claim are cheap and vulgar, easy acces pockets for those moment when I need to reach for my ticket/ passport/ Mobile, without having to go through so many steps to do so, this bag has plenty of pockets in perfect sizes, back strap that making the bag easily mounted on my spinner caryon, this is by far the most important point for me as airports are becoming bigger and bigger and having to carry a bag on my shoulder is just to difficult especially after a long flight, that is why this bag is a traveler dream come true, all of this come in an uncompromised quality, what more do I need?

I bought this as a gift for my husband, who is in sales. He has to carry a laptop and a mountain of catalogs and paperwork with him. His last bag wore out in less than 2 years and I paid $300+ for it. I was willing to invest more in this one because it is 100% leather and had good reviews. I was not disappointed. He's been carrying it for about a month and it just keeps looking better and better. He gets lots of compliments on it and if he leaves it in his truck, when he gets in, his truck smells like new leather! But seriously, the bag is super-well made. It's very thick leather and the stitching is very nice. The zippers are very sturdy, as is the rest of the hardware. The dark chocolate color is very nice and it doesn't seem to scratch easily. I'd recommend this bag to anyone.

I am pleasantly surprised with the quality workmanship and durable hardware on this leather messenger bag at this price point! The following items fit easily inside my bag: 15" Hp Spectre x360 (inside a leather portfolio cover), Surface Pro, iPad, two wireless mice, backup storage drive, all necessary power cords with plenty of room to spare for files and other items. There are several different pouches inside the case to store additional items including pens and business cards. The outside zipper pouches have plenty of room for other quick access items. The larger outside zipper pouch is a perfect fit for my iPhone 8 Plus. Even with all of these items inside the case it does not look like it is bulging out like many leather cases do when they are filled. It stands securely on it's own and the removable shoulder strap is comfortable to use when the case is fully loaded. I have already had several compliments on this case after one day of use.
